SRC
SRC offers a robust, scalable Product Information Management (PIM) solution designed to support omnichannel content syndication and data quality across complex product ecosystem…
View profileTradePIM is a PIM system made by NEDPT for companies that buy and resell physical products: wholesalers, importers, distributors and suppliers to retail. It keeps everything about a product in one place, from supplier data and packaging sizes to prices and margins, and it works alongside the ERP you already have, such as AFAS. You don't have to design the setup yourself, because the fields and workflows a trading company needs are already there. GS1 is included, and the TradePIM license is a one-time purchase. NEDPT is an official GS1 Netherlands partner and carries out implementations with Stoneworx, a Mendix specialist.
TradePIM is for trading companies in the Netherlands and Belgium, both small and large. NEDPT can also support projects elsewhere in Europe. It works best for companies with a lot of products, many suppliers, several packaging sizes per product and more than one sales channel. Typical sectors are home and garden, DIY, consumer goods, FMCG and wholesale.
Many PIM systems focus mainly on product content for marketing. TradePIM also covers the commercial side of trading: how a product is packed, what it costs to import and what margin is left. GS1 is built in. Your team checks GS1 data on the same screen as the rest of the product, sees which field is wrong, fixes it and sends it straight to the GS1 data pool, so many companies won't need a separate GS1 tool. The license is a one-time purchase, with no fee per user or per product. NEDPT lists indicative prices, excluding VAT, of €45,000 for up to 2,000 products, €75,000 for up to 25,000 and from €100,000 above that. For the smallest size, implementation starts at €33,000 and service and maintenance cost €7,500 a year. The Mendix platform, user licenses and hosting are charged separately, so ask for the full picture. These Founding License prices are for at most 10 organizations, until 1 February 2027.
TradePIM makes sense if you are a wholesaler with thousands of products from many suppliers, an importer who needs to keep track of packaging, import costs and pricing, or a supplier whose retail customers require correct GS1 data. It is also worth a look if you run AFAS or another ERP with product data in Excel next to it, or if you pay for a separate PIM and GS1 tool and would rather have one system. If you want to keep your current PIM, NEDPT is preparing BrickWise GS1, a separate connector with the same GS1 functions. NEDPT also offers a free introductory GS1 Discovery to go through your product data and what your retail customers ask for. GS1 specialists can join if this is arranged in advance.

Customer case: Dijk Natural Collections
The company
Dijk Natural Collections is an international wholesaler of natural decoration products. It buys in Asia, South America and Europe and sells to garden centers, DIY stores and wholesalers. As the business grew, its ERP could no longer reliably match purchases to customer orders. Containers also arrived in parts on different dates, which made it hard to tell customers when their goods would arrive.
The challenge
Stoneworx, which carries out implementations with NEDPT, built an order planning application on Mendix that connects purchase orders to customer orders. The whole company can now see stock and delivery dates, not just the warehouse. NEDPT now offers this as its Inventory Management & Order Planning module, which is separate from TradePIM.
What changed
Stoneworx built a tool on Mendix that shows incoming shipments and delivery dates in one overview.
Each purchase is linked to the customer orders it belongs to, which the ERP could no longer do reliably.
Sales and other teams can see stock that only the warehouse knew about before, and the tool also writes data back into Dijk's processes.
Results
A good candidate for wholesalers, importers and suppliers to retail in the Benelux that want GS1 inside their PIM and want to keep their ERP, such as AFAS. Compare the one-time license with the yearly Mendix, hosting and service costs, and ask to talk to TradePIM customers, because the Founding License program is new.
“TradePIM belongs on Benelux GS1/GDSN shortlists, especially for DIY - confirm packaging and DPP scope up front.”
TradePIM is built on Mendix, a low-code platform, and runs in the cloud. Your ERP keeps handling the core processes and TradePIM works alongside it. NEDPT has done this with AFAS. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Exact Online and SAP Business One are looked at per project. The GS1 functions come from BrickWise GS1, NEDPT's own GS1 software. Because it is built on Mendix, TradePIM can be changed to fit your own processes, but Mendix platform and user licenses are a yearly cost you need to budget for. NEDPT also sells a FieldSales App for sales teams and an Inventory Management & Order Planning module. Both work with TradePIM but are not included in the license. Before you decide, confirm which ERP connections are available, which GS1 data pools are covered and what the total cost will be.
